Mid-Wales Housing Association was established in 1975 and has over 1600 properties throughout Powys and Ceredigion as well as a few properties in Shropshire.
Operating from its Newtown Office, Mid-Wales Housing provides homes for rent. It has properties to suit families, single people of all ages including the elderly, as well as properties for people who may need care and support either occasionally or full time.
It is run by a voluntary Board of Management who come from throughout the region of Mid-Wales and from a variety of backgrounds.
‘Here at Mid Wales Housing Association, we pride ourselves on buying local and contributing to our communities. We also always try to improve the sustainability of our developments. By becoming a founder member of Woodknowledge Wales we can help to create jobs in the timber industry, whilst at the same time helping us out with technical support to improve the performance of our timber homes and reach even higher standards.’
