Dainis Dauksta and Gary Newman will be speaking at the first in a three-part series of events organised by The Green Register on Timber in Construction. The series will focus on the journey from forest to final products and the steps in between.
Dainis Dauksta, will start the session by setting out the history and development of forests in the UK including the growth of civilisations through deforestation, planted forest versus natural forests and the pragmatic design of future forests. The session will be closed by Gary Newman, (Chief Executive of Woodknowledge Wales) looking at how we can create a sustainable forestry system for the future.
