Woodknowledge Wales has entered into a new reciprocal membership agreement with Confor (Confederation of Forest Industries UK). This partnership builds on our recent agreement with Confor strengthening collaboration across the forestry and timber value chain.
Members of both organisations will benefit from shared learning, joint communications, and greater visibility across networks.
Under this agreement, Woodknowledge Wales and Confor have each become members of one another’s organisations, supporting our shared commitment to sustainable forestry and wood-using businesses through political engagement, market promotion and driving technical excellence and innovation across the sector.
“These agreements reflect our commitment to collaboration as a catalyst for positive change,” said Gary Newman, CEO of Woodknowledge Wales. “Confor is an important voice in our sector. By aligning our memberships, we can help members across the UK access more knowledge, connections and opportunities across the forestry and wood-use sector.”
Confor is a membership organisation for sustainable forestry and wood-using businesses, who provides a single, powerful voice to ensure our industries thrive long into the future.
We invite all members to explore the work of Confor and consider where new connections, learning, and collaborations can grow.
