This free, hybrid event is the first in a series to share research findings of relevance to Welsh forestry and the timber industry.
Forest Research will present findings from the Science and Innovation Strategy for Forestry in Great Britain. Other speakers include Natural Resources Wales, Confor, Wood knowledge Wales and the Welsh Government.
Topics will include:
- felling and restocking methods to maintain/increase productivity
- climate change adaptation and resilience
- future species diversification
- the climate change mitigation and carbon benefits of forestry
This Knowledge Transfer event offers presentations, exhibition stands and networking opportunities.
