Sofia supports the planning and delivery of events and outputs at Woodknowledge Wales. She is particularly interested in how events and collaboration can support knowledge-sharing and positive environmental impact throughout the timber supply chain.

Sofia is a recent graduate of the University of Southampton, holding a BA in Philosophy and an MA in Global Business Ethics and Philosophy of Management. Her postgraduate dissertation focused on outlining the ethical standards by which governments should encourage pro-environmental behaviours , with a particular emphasis on fairness and accountability.

Sofia is also a committed volunteer in the climate action space, having held a role with Humanist Climate Action UK since 2023 and Bank.Green since 2025, contributing to public engagement and communications around climate action and responsible finance.
