Sofia is Communications Manager at Woodknowledge Wales, leading communications across the organisation, including content development, digital communications, social media and newsletters. She is particularly interested in how effective communication and collaboration can support knowledge-sharing, strengthen connections across the timber supply chain and contribute to positive environmental change.

She joined Woodknowledge Wales as an Events Assistant, supporting the planning and delivery of events and programmes, before moving into her current role as Communications Manager. She has experience in communications, marketing and public engagement across the climate and environmental sectors, including an internship with Wildscreen, where she supported communications and marketing activity, as well as previous volunteer roles with Humanist Climate Action UK and Bank.Green.

Sofia is a graduate of the University of Southampton, holding a BA in Philosophy and an MA in Global Business Ethics and Philosophy of Management. Her postgraduate dissertation explored the ethical standards by which governments should encourage pro-environmental behaviours, with a particular emphasis on fairness and accountability.
